Below are regular, ongoing opportunities for adults interested in getting involved with ARBC. In addition to these regular events and our regular worship services, please see our church calendar for additional events and opportunities.
Bible Study opportunities:
One of the most important ways that we grow in our faith is by studying, contemplating, and discussing the scriptures. At 9:45 a.m. each Sunday morning we offer Bible study opportunities for adults of all ages and stations of life. These Bible study groups meet on the second floor of the education wing where coffee is always available in the Community Room.
Bible Study groups are central to the life of our community. Together we explore the texts most sacred to our Christian faith, and we support one another as we do our best to live out the lessons we find in the scriptures each day. Our group members become fellow travelers on our spiritual journey and often meet together outside of the Sunday morning gathering for fellowship and fun.
If you are interested in studying the Bible in community, please join us every Sunday at 9:45 a.m.
Men’s Prayer Group:
The Men’s Prayer Group meets each Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. at Mug and Muffin, 3017 Augusta Street in Greenville. This time serves as a touch point in the middle of the week to keep us connected to our community of faith. We discuss the events of the day, we often share reflections on a book we are reading together to give focus and intention to our time, and we pray for each other, our families, our church, and our world. All men are welcome to join us on Wednesday mornings for breakfast and conversation around the table.
Our adult women meet monthly for dinner and conversation after work (and sometimes a glass of wine or coffee). We’re currently planning a beach weekend and we’re always looking for ways to connect! For more information, contact Lou Nell Eady at firstname.lastname@example.org.
