Suzanne began her ministry as Associate Pastor of Augusta Road Baptist Church on February 29, 2024. Previously she has served Baptist, Methodist, and Lutheran churches in North and South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Kentucky. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained in her ministry among all ages and in all areas of congregational life. In addition to her congregational experience, Suzanne has also served as a hospice chaplain. 

Suzanne received a Bachelor of Music degree from Wingate University, as well as a Master of Church Music degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. She was ordained to the ministry in 2018. She and her husband, Jim, have two grown children, a daughter-in-law, and one grandchild.

As ARBC’s Associate Pastor, Suzanne is helping lead our congregation with vision, energy, and a drive for excellence. Her ministry among us impacts all areas of congregational life, including worship and families. She also works to strengthen the connection between our congregation and families served through our weekday ministries. She has a passion for music, and has the ability to bring out the best in the gifts of choirs of all ages. She has experience in preaching and teaching. She understands the mission of the local church, and how to impact the community in which it is planted. She uses all of her gifts and experience to enable ARBC to thrive.
