A loving, inclusive Christian church in Greenville, SC

Inclement Weather Procedures – January 6, 2017

ARBC Inclement Weather Procedures:

As the Upstate prepares for its first winter weather event of 2017, we want to remind you of our inclement weather notification procedures.

If it becomes necessary for ARBC to cancel any of its activities, including Sunday morning worship, due to inclement weather, we will add the appropriate information to the list of closings through Channel 4 WYFF News. We will also post an announcement on our church website, www.arbc.com, and our Facebook page. For closings on Sundays and Wednesdays, we will also ask our deacons to reach out to the families in their care to make sure they have the most updated information.

Unless otherwise noted, the ARBC Preschool and After School Ministries will follow the decisions made by the Greenville County School System. Should the schools be closed due to inclement weather, our campus will be closed as well. If we feel that it is safe to open, Phyllis and Mary Dell will notify the families in their ministry areas.

All decisions to cancel church activities will be made out of concern for the safety of those who may come on our campus. We will make every possible preparation to ensure the safety of our campus in weather-related events. Please use caution and your best judgment when determining whether or not it is safe for you to join us.

In the event that we are closed, Matt, Bridget, and Barry will still be available via cell phone. Matt is also able to receive voicemails left on his office line. Please call if there is something we can do to help you.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during these events. Thank you most of all for being part of the ARBC family.

Rev. W. Mattison King

Senior Pastor
